Showchoir is an exciting performance group formed in 2011 by Edinburgh University Footlights, described as “one of the most respected theatre groups in Britain” (The Edinburgh Evening News), which has gone from strength to strength by never restricting performers to one show, genre or time period.
This years Showchoir, Talk It Out is a vibrant show focused on finding community and sharing stories. The show centers on the charged first meeting of a self-help group. In this setting, a diverse group of individuals comes together, each with their own unique challenges and aspirations. As they share their experiences, the story unfolds through their journeys of healing and personal growth, complete with some bumps along the way. The show features an electrifying selection of comedic and heartwrenching musical numbers that narrate the wild tales of characters’ highs and lows.
'Talk It Out!' is a hilarious and entertaining production that explores themes of love, sex, identity, and the bonds of community. With hilarious comedic numbers that promise to both shock and delight the audience. This fusion of humour and heart will not only entertain but also resonate deeply, prompting everyone to reflect on life's eccentricities.
