Learn to make a beautiful, unique, earrings using vibrant fabrics with sustainability at the core.
Slow down and connect at this 2 hour workshop, where by the end of the workshop, you will have made beautiful pair of statement earrings.
Perfect as a gift or to keep as a-one-of-a-kind, personal piece of Jewellery.
Caroline has been making beautiful fabric earrings for many years. She has a large collection of vintage and bold cottons/linen fabrics, which she uses for other projects. She hates wasting any fabric so uses smaller pieces to make statement Jewellery, striving to be more planet-friendly.
Choose from 2 designs and a choice of silver or brass coloured circle connecting attachments. These can be textured or left flat.
Learn this sustainable process with little waste to create a stunning pair of earrings.
During the workshop you will:
• Choose your fabric* from a large collection of vibrant linen and cottons.
• Cut the fabric size and learn the techniques to make either a half moon or disc design.
• Learn the technique to hand stitch your earrings into shape.
• Assembly your earrings adding the connecting component - choose either brass or silver stainless steel.
• Learn to texture/hammer these connecting pieces with a choice of 3 designs.
• Learn how to attach the earring hooks with either surgical stainless steel or brass earring hooks (sterling silver and Gold-filled also available at an additional cost)
• Enjoy your unique earrings which can be worn straight away or given as a one-of-a-kind gift.
You can also bring your own fabric along too*
