Come and learn the art of notebook making! In this session, you will design your own artwork using our professional pens. We’ll print it instantly, and then guide you through the satisfying process of building a hard cover and wire-binding it together.
Ready to upgrade your stationery stash? Join us for this hands-on workshop where you will design and construct a bespoke wire-bound notebook from scratch.
Use our provided markers and paper to sketch your design. We’ll photograph your creation and prepare it for printing. Not feeling like a freehand artist? No problem! Choose from a selection of pre-made designs including some festive options, or simply personalise your notebook cover with your name for a stylish and unique touch. We do also have 2 iPads available if you would prefer to draw digitally, you are also welcome to bring your own.
Once your design is ready, we will photograph it and print it onto premium adhesive paper. Then, the making begins! You will learn how to mount your print onto sturdy board to create a professional hard cover. Finally, you’ll stack it with a block of lined paper and use our binding machine to secure the wire spine, snapping it all together into a finished book.
What to expect:
Design: Full access to our art supplies to create your cover art.
Build: Learn the satisfying technique of wrapping and mounting a hardback cover.
Bind: Add the wire to your pre-punched lined paper and finish your book.
You’ll walk away with a completely unique, durable notebook that looks shop-bought but was 100% made by you.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
