About Design & Discover at Museum on the Mound
Come along to Museum on the Mound for free hands-on activities the whole family will love! Explore our fascinating trails, get stuck into our handling tables, and uncover the secrets behind Scotland’s money.
Create your own masterpiece! Use holograms and UV pens to design your very own banknote – will yours be impossible to copy?
Discover hidden secrets! Drop by between 2–4pm, Tuesday 17th to Friday 20th, and get up close with our amazing collection. You’ll learn about the incredible security features that keep our banknotes safe – and try spotting them yourself!
It’s fun, free, and perfect for curious minds. No booking needed – just pop in and join the fun!
