Are you a young wildlife adventurer who likes exploring in the outdoors? Then join Green Explorers, our monthly programme for 8-12 year olds.
Learn woodland survival skills, fire lighting and outdoor cooking. Have fun and adventures in local wild places around Edinburgh. Play games, learn tracking and discover more about the wildlife around you.
Projects are led by The Green Team's Green Explorers Project Co-ordinator and are supported by adult volunteers. We spend time discovering and exploring a variety of parks, woodlands and nature reserves in and around Edinburgh.
Children should bring warm and waterproof clothing, a packed lunch and water bottle. We provide equipment and can supply waterproofs and boots if required. We give full travel and safety instructions for all the activities.
The Green Team is a small Edinburgh-based environmental education charity. We have been connecting young people with nature since 1995.
