Celebrant make music that blends indie-folk songwriting with classical composition and orchestration. Based in Copenhagen, the ensemble uses classical instrumentation as an integral foundation for original songs that combine poetic lyricism and personal themes with intricate and ambitious arrangements. Led by Scottish songwriter/composer Tom Irvine in collaboration with singer Laura Zöschg (IT), and featuring varying constellations of musicians,

Celebrant take influence from artists like Sufjan Stevens, Joanna Newsom, Owen Pallett, and Adrianne Lenker in crafting stark, emotional, connective songs that toe the line between complex and accessible.
