Volunteering at Hays Community Hub
At Hays Community Hub, we’re proud to welcome 300–500 community members through our doors every week. None of what we do would be possible without the incredible dedication of our volunteers — they are truly at the heart of our work.
We’re committed to nurturing talent and creating meaningful, supportive volunteering experiences.
Our volunteer package includes:
A training allowance
In-house training sessions
Personal development plans
1:1 support and guidance
An encouraging environment where you can be creative, make decisions, and grow in confidence
We run a variety of groups and activities within the hub, offering plenty of ways to get involved. We also work closely with partner organisations, giving our volunteers even more opportunities across Edinburgh.
Our Volunteer Drop-In Service actively searches for volunteering roles throughout the city, helping you find the perfect match for your interests, skills, or career goals.
For students, we provide references, study support, and take an active mentorship role to help you succeed both academically and professionally.
If you're looking to build experience, develop new skills, or simply give back to your community, Hays Community Hub is the perfect place to start.
