For many Americans living abroad, Thanksgiving can be the moment when homesickness hits hardest. Edinburgh’s diverse community and growing number of US residents, particularly students and professionals, have created a rising demand for American holiday dining experiences in the city.
This year, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is stepping in to fill that gap. On Thursday 27th November, the city’s iconic rock-and-roll restaurant will serve a dedicated two-course Thanksgiving menu designed to bring a slice of home to the capital’s American community, as well as offer local diners the chance to experience the quintessential US holiday.
The star of the menu is a classic roast turkey dinner, served with all the traditional trimmings including Home-Style stuffing, velvety turkey gravy, roasted vegetables, creamy sweet potato mash, all rounded off with a slice of homemade pumpkin pie. Guests can enjoy the two-course for just £29.90 per adult / £18.45 per child and is available exclusively on Thanksgiving Day. Those looking to elevate the experience can pair dinner with the Autumn Apple Fizz, a festive cocktail mixing Bulleit Bourbon, apple cider, ginger beer and toasted cinnamon for a warming seasonal kick.
Whether you’re an American missing the familiar flavours of home or simply want to experience a traditional Thanksgiving feast, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh is ready to welcome guests. Spaces are limited and advanced booking is highly encouraged.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
