Join us for a delicious foray with mycologist Nev Kilkenny, as we explore the hidden larder of Gifford Community Woodland. You’ll learn how to identify and sustainably forage seasonal mushrooms and wild edibles under Nev’s expert guidance, then gather around a shared foraged lunch.
Nev Kilkenny is a respected consultant field mycologist and fungal ecologist, trained at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, with years of experience leading forays, workshops, and community learning events.
This is a rare chance to learn from Nev in our local woodland as the autumn foraging window is small and his workshops always sell out fast, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Location: Gifford Community Woodland, Station Road, Gifford, Haddington, EH41 4QQ
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
