Josef Akin is a composer, producer and musician living in London. Primarily a pianist, Joe grew up with all kinds of music surrounding him and so his influences are endless, and since 14 he has never been far from an instrument, or a laptop to make beats on.
Whilst his earlier releases explored more of a spiritual jazz world, increasingly Joe is leaning into the piano and his own voice to create, and, though keeping the jazz influences, is beginning to delve into the worlds of R&B, soul, and rock, but always trying to stay true to his own, ever-evolving sound.
