A renowned theatre producer, used to mingling with celebrities and top-level entrepreneurs, leaves behind success for a transformative journey. Like the monk who sold his Ferrari, he travels the world with a purpose: to share the power of miracles – those that happen daily and those we create with our minds. There are miracles that change the world, happen around us, and ones we can create. The Guru is an inspiring talk revealing our world's everyday miracles.
Immerse yourself in a new inspiring encounter with author Luis Alvarez, coinciding with the launch of his new book: "The Guru", a journey to your new self through 12 mantras, filled with anecdotes, stories, questions and answers. Attend an enriching conversation between Western thought and Hindu philosophy.
LUIS ALVAREZ:
Luis Alvarez is a dream maker. Producer, director, actor, writer, artist, creative, entrepreneur, innovator... At the age of eighteen, he founded his own entertainment company and earned his first million pesetas. At twenty-eight, he partnered with QUEEN and Robert De Niro to produce WE WILL ROCK YOU, and with 101 DALMATIANS, he became the first Ibero-American producer to bring a show to Broadway at the age of thirty. He went on to lead the largest Spanish-speaking theater network in the world. Since then, his career has been marked by one success after another. For his work in the United States, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2009 by the New York Chamber of Commerce. His personal challenge is to create something new every year that has never been invented before. He is the author of the books El Éxito (2015) and Cómo hacer posible lo imposible (2017) The Guru (2024).
