Discover the Story of the Great Kilt
Free In-Store Great Kilt Demonstrations
Join us for a fascinating, hands-on session exploring the rich history of the féileadh mòr (Great Kilt). During the demonstration you’ll learn:
◦ The history and cultural significance of the Great Kilt
◦ What materials are needed to create your own
◦ How to fold, style, and wear a great kilt like a Highlander
Our friendly team will also be happy to answer your questions about the history of tartan, and after the demonstration, you’re welcome to:
◦ Explore your family or clan tartan
◦ View swatches of tartans and fabrics
◦ Get measured for your chosen garment
7 Days a Week at 11:00 throughout August in our Edinburgh & Crieff stores.
Registration is recommended, but walk-ins are welcome and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you.
