During this workshop tasting, we’ll journey through the rich history of Rioja, a unique 100km-long region shaped by centuries of tradition, diverse terroir, dramatic landscapes, and the enduring influence of its people – dating all the way back to Roman times.
The Format
Starting at 6.30pm, the tasting will last just over an hour with plenty of time for questions. Afterwards we’ll enjoy some cheese and charcuterie nibbles, another glass of wine and a chat before finishing at 8.30pm.
As with all Wine Events Scotland tastings, the aim is that it’s a relaxed, fun, informal and informative evening. Come on your own or with a friend, whatever your interest or knowledge of wine everyone who enjoys wine is welcome.
This masterclass and tasting will be presented by Wine Events Scotland’s Diana Thompson at The Hotel du Vin in the stunning Burke & Hare Room.
