About ESF Pride SpeedQuiz by Lonkero
On Wednesday 18th June, we’re kicking off Edinburgh Pride weekend with a special edition of our weekly SpeedQuiz – a celebration of queer joy, icons, and culture! Expect questions on LGBTQ+ history, music legends, iconic films, TV moments, and the trailblazers who’ve made Pride what it is today.
This year, we’re raising funds for LGBT Health and Wellbeing – a Scottish charity supporting LGBTQ+ adults with vital mental, physical, and social wellbeing services across Edinburgh, Glasgow and online. Donations to this incredible organisation can be made via our QR ordering system, and for every donation, no matter how big or small, Edinburgh Street Food will donate £1 too.
You know the drill – just like our usual Wednesday nights powered by Lonkero, it’s time to get those fast fingers ready! SpeedQuizzing is the no pens, no paper, no cheating quiz with live scores up on the big screen.
It’s free to play (save your money for donations, Lonkero pints, and street food feasts), and there are three prizes up for grabs:
1st Prize – £50 ESF food & drink voucher
2nd Prize – 12-pack of Lonkero cans (for home sipping)
3rd Prize – 6-pack of Lonkero cans (also for home sipping)
Just bring your phone, your chosen fam, and proudest self – we’ll handle the rest!
Lonkero is an eccentric Finnish draught of gin, grapefruit & botanicals. Best enjoyed on draught in ice-topped pints. Always among friends. Sometimes with your pants off.
Oh, and remember – it’s Kippis! (That’s “cheers” in Finnish, because now you’re basically fluent.)
