Summer CAT is based out of Edinburgh Zoo’s Wildlife Garden where children spend all day outside getting mucky and getting hands on with conservation.
They will take part in a range of activities including planting, building, animal surveying, games, campfires and much more. We also take advantage of being set in a zoo and visit some of our amazing animals!
The programme is for children entering school years P4–P7 after the summer and runs from Monday to Friday, 9am to 3:30pm. Early drop off is available for free from 8:30am and After-School Club is available to book for £45 for the week – this runs until 5:30pm and you can collect earlier if preferred.
When you book on to one of the four available weeks in July, the date on your ticket will correspond with the Monday and means you are booked in for the full week!
Week 1: Monday 29 June – Friday 3 July
Week 2: Monday 6 July – Friday 10 July
Week 3: Monday 13 July – Friday 17 July
Week 4: Monday 20 July – Friday 24 July
Please read our Summer School terms and conditions before booking.
Booking link available on Monday 2 March.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
