The fourth edition of the North Edinburgh Film Festival will take place between 27 and 28 March 2026. Presented by Screen Education Edinburgh and North Edinburgh Arts, the Festival celebrates community cinema and filmmaking in North Edinburgh, and is being programmed and planned with and by local residents, artists and film enthusiasts.
Exploring themes of community and place, the festival will be held at the North Edinburgh Arts building for the first time, and will include a diverse programme of over 40 films, made locally as well as further afield, film installations, creative workshops for different ages, and a community meal. There’s something for everyone to enjoy and explore!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
