Humans are under pressure. We live in a world of paradoxes: where consumerism goes hand in hand with concern over the environment; and pressure to live well and look good contends with our ability to pay for the basics of food, heat and shelter. During the pandemic, many of us sacrificed our mental health to safeguard our physical health, and levels of anxiety and depression have never been greater. In this series, we welcome authors who have penned their personal mental health journeys, as well as those who offer refreshing solutions to some of the issues affecting our wellbeing today.
