Eurythmy is an expressive movement art originated by Rudolf Steiner in conjunction with Marie von Sivers in the early 20th century. Primarily a performance art, it is also taught as part of the timetable in Steiner-Waldorf Schools around the world.
Eurythmy inculcates a sense of form, spatial awareness, rhythm and teamwork. It is also offered to individuals therapeutically. Experiencing Eurythmy or watching a performance live is unlike anything you have ever done before.
It's not entertainment, but an invitation to be drawn into the realm of soul and spirit. It is rare to have a live performance by professional Eurythmists coming to Edinburgh and this is therefore a unique opportunity to experience the soul and spiritual qualities of this art form.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
