To celebrate our LGBT visitors, staff and volunteers, the Georgian House are thrilled to announce our very first Pride event! Join Stef Lauer, founder of Anne Lister's Edinburgh walking tours, in our Drawing Room for an evening of secret codes and stolen kisses.
Anne Lister, the real life woman behind the hit BBC/HBO series Gentleman Jack, visited Edinburgh in 1828. As she toured the city, she was entertained in homes just like the Georgian House.
Listen in as Stef traces Anne's footsteps through Edinburgh and explore our refurbished rooms, as you imagine what life was like for a woman "who only loves the fairer sex".
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
