From Bach to The Beatles and beyond, renowned South Australian musician/songwriter William Jack presents a free (non-ticketed) multi-style cello recital in the heart of Edinburgh.
The program includes iconic songs (by AC/DC, Bob Dylan, Oasis and more) dismantled and reimagined for solo cello. Intertwined with original compositions from William's debut album, This Old Cello Box.
There's something for everyone, with decipherable elements of worldwide folk to bluegrass and rock.
William incorporates his jazz guitar background into an unconventional style of cello playing, delivering cello-pickin' grooves and catchy hooks alongside intimate melodies.
Don't miss this electrifying performance!
