About 4-Week Sewing, Mending and Altering Techniques Workshop
Are you looking to extend your wardrobe, learn new skills, save money whilst also saving the planet? Join our 4-week Mending and Altering Techniques workshop and learn practical ways to modify and upcycle the clothes you have, so you don’t have to buy new!
This 4-part workshop will be running every Friday from 13th May – 3rd June from 6pm – 8pm.
Our expert sewing tutor, Monika, will teach you a range of skills including:
– Sewing and non-sewing techniques
– Simple garment alterations
– Creative techniques for mending
– Design and redesign basics and processes
No previous knowledge or skills in sewing or textiles is needed to join this workshop, as beginners are welcome!
What you’ll need to bring: Any clothes you have that need mending or altering, or any nice fabrics you’d like to include in your designs. We will also have a wide range of fabrics for you to practice all these new skills on!
