Join us for a fabulous get-together and cultural celebration for International Workers' Day and the 125th anniversary of the Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC). Featuring a fantastic line-up of music, poetry and comedy, the Great May Day Cabaret will showcase 7 high-calibre acts, making for an excellent-value night of entertainment to mark a very important day in the history of workers' rights.
Performers include singer-songwriter and national treasure Rab Noakes; songwriter and producer Becci Wallace; musician and activist Calum Baird; poet and former refugee and political prisoner Ghazi Hussein; Yemeni Musician Saber Bamatraf and spoken word artist Iona Lee. Hosted by the incomparable Susan Morrison.
This event is supported by Edinburgh & Lothians May Day Committee, Fair Pley, STUC, Art27scotland, Peace & Justice Project, and Unite the Union.
