John Myrtle

About John Myrtle

London-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Myrtle brightens rainy days and elevates the sunny ones. His unique brand of jangle-pop seamlessly moves from eccentric songs about slugs and spiders, to honest, heartfelt balladry; all lovingly crafted in Myrtle’s bedroom studio.

Myrtle’s debut EP ‘Here’s John Myrtle’ was met with great critical acclaim and was followed by John and his band embarking on a full UK tour. His 2021 album ‘Myrtle Soup’, released via London Indie label Sad Club Records, followed suit in its praise, and has built on John’s ever-increasing momentum.
