This workshop will be a fun way for women who would like to sing to get an opportunity to do this without fear of criticism in a safe and friendly environment.
About Scared to Sing
Have you ever been told you can’t sing? Not good enough for the school choir? Or asked to mime? Unfortunately this is the reality for a huge percentage of adults which has resulted in people believing their whole life that they can’t sing or have been too frightened to sing.
This workshop will be a fun way for women who would like to sing to get an opportunity to do this without fear of criticism in a safe and friendly environment.
Come and sing like you’ve never sung before. Song sheets will be provided.
Participants are invited to come and show off their new found voices – or support and enjoy other women sharing their audacious acts – at the open mic immediately after this workshop. The open mic will provide a safe and supportive space to try something new. There will be a small audience of women who have attended other AWF events.
