Join a group of six unmissable storytellers for a special Guid Crack session as we co-host the first live version of the Scottish Storytelling Centre’s long-running storytelling night in two years!
This is an evening of traditional, historical and contemporary tales about women who have drawn on their strengths, wisdom and wits to make their mark. Women whose legacies simply must be told and passed on to the women of today.
Featuring:
Rona Barbour who learned from birth the true value of storytelling;
Emilie Barr who tells of ordinary women who used creativity and political activism to change Scottish perspectives;
Beverley Casebow who carries apassion for Scottish history and culture;
Anne Dignan whose sight loss journey compels her to share stories in the traditional oral way, preserving heritage and tradition.
Ailsa Dixon a storyteller and musician who is passionate about traditional tales with strong, powerful heroines;
and Elaine Robertson whose easy storytelling style effortlessly pulls her audience into the story magic.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
