About Night Owl Gigs - Conflict Hope headline

CONFLICT HOPE had an outstanding gig at Glasgow's 13th Note in November 2021! Their performance along with stage presence blew everyone away, leaving the crowed wanting more! Conflict Hope are ready to smash it again as they bring you their headline gig at Edinburgh's Legends in April 2022!

CONFLICT HOPE formed by a group of friends in high-school, Scottish hard rockers Conflict Hope knew what they wanted to do from an early age. Bonded by a mutual love of loud rock n roll music, they began playing and writing every day, trying to harness their craft and be the best band that they could. Having being influenced by so many different bands, and loving so many styles that fall underneath the rock n roll umbrella, it was inevitable that their influences would bleed into their sound, creating a unique blend of hard rock, punk and heavy rock, this map of music led Conflict Hope to discover their sound. In 2020 they began to make their first stride into the music industry, releasing their debut single 'Calm Before The Storm', hitting the world with a song full of fast guitar riffs, punchy bass lines, thundering drums and an extremely catchy vocal line, it's a song with loads of twists and turns designed to make you jump around and sing along. Conflict Hope have only just started though, with plenty of music being written, it's only a matter of time before Conflict Hope come crashing through our speakers again, showing the world that rock, is anything but dead.

SUPPORT from:

THE ZEBECKS are a four-piece indie rock band from Elgin in the North-East of Scotland consisting of Daniel Thomson (Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Hayden Peace (Lead Guitar), Max Robertson (Bass Guitar) and Aiden Smith (Drums). In August 2020, the band recorded their five-track demo EP 'Out of the Dust' at Unity Recording Studio in the Highlands of Scotland. With the requirement to follow restrictions only two band members could be in the studio at a time which proved challenging. However, the boys believe this gave the sound and feel of the demos a unique flare. The lead single Concrete was released on the 19th of February and managed to amass 1,000 Spotify streams within the first week. A few months later, on the 25th of June, the band released the second single Violet and just prior to this it was played on BBC Introducing. The Violet music video has been a huge success for the lads, having nearly hit 10,000 views on Facebook. 'Out of the Dust' releases on the 6th of August onto all streaming platforms and on CD. On the 3rd of August, Phoney Town was aired on BBC Introducing, thus giving the lads their second airplay on BBC. The Zebecks have returned to rehearsals now that restrictions permit it and have been writing new music alongside practising for their upcoming gigs. In August 2021, they returned to the studio and have more tracks currently in production.

BLUE NICOTINE is an Alternative Rock Artist based in Glasgow, Scotland. This is an alias created by multi-instrumentalist Aidan Kelly who started the Blue Nicotine rock project in 2019 and has since made a quick local impact by playing a number of shows in and around Glasgow such as Box, Ivory Blacks and the iconic King Tuts venue. Blue Nicotine's main influences are Guns 'N Roses, Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters and The 1975 to name only a few, therefore you can expect a consistent solid mash of melodic guitars, stacked vocal harmonies and guttural bass and drums from the Alt Rock Artist. Blue Nicotine's debut single ' Placebo Effect ' which was released on the 5th of March 2021 is the perfect example of what to expect in the future from this artist. He is aiming to bring back the large 80s Bluesy style guitar riffs and solos but always maintaining a consistent strain of contemporary rock flare. Blue Nicotine is always setting new challenges and aiming to hit them while also keeping you guessing at all times. Be sure to keep Blue Nicotine on your radar over the next year as he is set to release fresh music and eventually his upcoming EP which has been in the works for around 3 years.
