About Colour & Cloth Purple and Prince: Pop stars in Colour
Purple is probably the most sought after colour in history. Relatively rare in nature, it is a key colour in art, religion, mythology and for royalty. Purple is also the colour of the musician Prince, at least since 1984 when he released Purple Rain.
