Charlie Mackesy, author of the bestselling, illustrated book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, will join author and translator Matthew Fitt in conversation in an online event with the National Library of Scotland.
Charlie Mackesy’s bestselling book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse has been warming hearts all over the world, now translated into over 17 languages, with its messages of kindness, love and friendship are woven into a beautiful tale and gorgeous illustrations.
Matthew's creative rendition of Charlie’s book into Scots has been published as The Laddie, the Mowdie, the Tod and the Cuddie. He previously translated J K Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, as well as books by Roald Dahl and David Walliams.
