A fantastic indoor rooftop screening of Billy Wilder's romantic comedy 'The Apartment, part of Cinescapes new CineNights series!
On Sunday, 19 December 2021, Cinescapes and Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge are transforming their Rooftop 51 bar into a pop up micro cinema, with popcorn, drinks and much more!

Join us at Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge’s spectacular rooftop setting to immerse yourself in Billy Wilder's hilarious RomCom that reminds us of the true spirit of Christmas.
'The Apartment' is a1960's American classic set in New York City at Christmas Time and sees Jack Lemmon play C. C. Baxter, an insurance clerk who’s keen to climb the corporate ladder and decides to lend his apartment to the company executives to carry out their extramarital affairs in. But things quickly take a turn, when Baxter himself falls in love!
It's an refreshing take on Christmas viewing and offers a poignant look at coming together and finding hope for the future. Now that sounds like something to warm you right up, doesn't it?!
Tickets are £20 per person and include popcorn, a specially crafted Candy Cane Martini featuring Highland Liquor Company’s Seven Croft’s gin and a live one hour music set on arrival.
Arrive from 4 pm to listen to the music, enjoy a drink and snag a good viewing point for the movie.
Screening starts at 5 pm with a 20 minute intermission at 6 pm.
This is cinema done in style, so grab a couple of pals, book your seats and watch The Apartment play out on Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge's beautiful rooftop.
