This year Edinburgh’s Christmas will be working with Edinburgh-based artist Hannah Ayre to produce a contemporary art installation, which will illuminate the Mound with cascading geometric snowflakes.
This installation will sit alongside Edinburgh’s Christmas tree, donated by the Hordaland County Council in Norway, and will replace the traditional Light Night event.
Please note there will be no public switch-on event this year.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
