This workshop is part of our Winter series of botanical workshops focusing on nature and creativity. In these sessions participants will be given time to learn new skills from our florists, experimenting with a range of materials and colour palettes to create something perfect for the home.
Come and join us for a special wreath making session at Native Edinburgh. With light refreshments to fuel you, we will guide you in making a beautiful ring that you can hang inside or out to enjoy through the festive season and beyond.
The workshop is designed to suit all abilities and is for anyone that has an interest to learn. You don’t need to bring anything with you, as all materials that are needed for the session will be provided in abundance. You will be able to select from a range of sizes of hoops, as well as a huge variety of dried materials to experiment with. Whether your style is simple and elegant and and an entire pampas wreath is your goal, or you want to be a little more festive and play around with textures and tones to suit, our florists are there to guide you.
Numbers will be purposefully kept to a minimum for your comfort and wellbeing. The session lasts around 2 hours and gives you plenty of time to learn, explore and be creative.
On the day you will also have the opportunity to visit Summer Morning Studios, who are hosting a pop up shop onsite featuring their hand poured candle collection plus a range of 100% organic cotton t-shirts manufactured sustainably using renewable green energy from wind and solar power. There will also be limited edition Christmas shapes, jumpers, tote-bags and gold matchboxes available for sale.
