‘Ae Spark o Nature’s Fire’
Robert Burns is often referred to as the Ploughman Poet. His poetry is suffused with imagery of the natural world; the landscapes, plants and animals which he encountered in his native Ayrshire of the late 1700s. Join RBBM Learning Manager Chris Waddell as he examines some of the species Burns mentions in his poetry and examines the Scots language he uses to describe them.
Tea and biscuits included in the ticket price of £4 (free for NTS staff/volunteers)
