Recently Conor O’Brien, the man behind the Villagers Moniker, announced his fifth studio album ‘Fever Dreams’, which was released on 20th August. The record is a pursuit in escapism, picking the listener up and setting them down elsewhere with mesmerising effect.
O’Brien says of Fever Dreams: “I had an urge to write something that was a generous to the listener as it was to myself. Sometimes the most delirious states can produce the most ecstatic, euphoric and escapist dreams.”
