To celebrate the globally important climate conference, COP26, happening right here in Scotland, Dynamic Earth is hosting a Climate Science Showcase Day.
On Saturday 6th November, come and meet scientists studying our changing climate and its effects on the planet, all the way from the bottom of the ocean right up to the air in our atmosphere.
Take part in fun activities and get up close to the amazing technology we use to explore our world such as deep-sea landers and autonomous underwater robots.
It’s a great opportunity to ask climate scientists all your questions about the climate crisis and the COP26 conference.
Set under the stunning artwork, Gaia, a giant floating 7m scale-model of Planet Earth, you will get to appreciate our world from all angles!
Drop-in to this free event any time between 10am and 4pm, no booking required. Tickets to the Dynamic Earth exhibition and planetarium are available separately
“This event is running as part of Dynamic Earth’s Operation Earth programme, a national STEM engagement scheme, connecting families with school aged children to the Natural Environment Research Council’s world-leading environmental science research.”
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
