The Gourley family of four enjoy life. Yes, they have their ups and downs, but their closeness is never in doubt. All this changes when a member of the family is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Yet, as in life, surely there is always hope?
“You arrived unannounced with no great fanfare
We were not aware of your entrance
For so long we were slow to respond
But not you! Oh, no, you were eager to destroy”
This production grew from the loss of Isobel Barrett McMurechie's husband John, from Pancreatic Cancer. Before this Isobel knew very little about this silent killer.
Pancreatic Cancer Scotland welcomes this production realising that the message of awareness is of the utmost importance and could save someone's life.
