Take part in a fun-filled sponsored walk that transforms the lives of deaf people. It is a great way to safely explore a stunning location with your friends and family (with or without a dog!) and help deaf people to leave loneliness behind.
Distance: 4km (approx.) shorter route which includes a steep climb OR 6k (approx) on path/road, with some steep climbs.
Minimum Sponsorship: No minimum sponsorship but if you raise £25 or more you'll receive a Hearing Dog wristband. Raise £50 or more and you'll receive an exclusive Great British Dog Walk mug or, if you raise £100 or more you'll receive free puppy sponsorship!
Terrain: Please note the routes are over varied terrain and some surfaces can be uneven, for this reason we recommend you contact us to discuss any mobility issues. Both routes do include some steep climbs and decents and can be quite challenging.
Parking: Very limited pay and display parking is available around the park. We strongly recommend that where possible, walkers use public transport.
More: This is a great opportunity to explore the majestic Holyrood Park along with other dog lovers and their four-legged friends! There will be activities to do along the routes and other fun games to enjoy before and after the walk, so get your tickets and we look forward to seeing you there!
Other Facilities: Toilets. There are various cafes open to the public around the park.
Because of the number of dogs expected, we do ask that dogs are kept on lead for the duration of the walk.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
