St Michael and All Saints invites you to enjoy an afternoon of uplifting sacred classical mass setting Concerts performed by Organist Christopher Black and Cantor Bartosz Skrzypczak.
• 14th August: Messe pour VIII Tone pour L'Orgue avec le Plainchant de Missa de Angelis par Gaspard Corrette 1670 – 1730
• 21st August: Veni Creator, Ave Maria Stella et Couplets pour L'Orgue par Nicholas de Grigny, 1672 - 1703
• 23rd August: Trois Magnificats pour L'Orgue et Voix par Jean-Adam Guilain, 1680 - 1739 et Alexandre Guilmant 1837 – 1911
• 28th August: A celebration of the Chorale Preludes of J.S. Bach, 1675 – 1750
Come and explore the beautiful inner landscape of the church as you take in the powerful music of the Organ.
Performances are 12:30 – 13:45. Refreshments, Cake and Crepes available.
These Non-ticketed concerts; however donations towards the church on exit would be most welcome. Thank you.
