An Alternative Afternoon Tea Experience
Afternoon Tea at the Arthur Conan Doyle Centre is a unique and uplifting experience. Take a seat in the opulent and specially-designed 1st Floor Tarot Tearoom. Sip carefully selected teas that offer potent wellbeing boosts. Indulge in a bountiful selection of fresh pastries, delicious finger sandwiches and tantalising sweets. At the end of your sitting, you will be invited to join Kat Wojdyla in a private room for an intuitive Tarot reading.
Our afternoon tea offers a slice of serenity. The Tarot Tearoom is furnished with elegant table dressings and lush plants. Between your sitting you can explore our Centre which is one of the few townhouses that remains intact. It features an ornate victorian staircase and a beautiful glass dome which was the prototype for the dome atop the McEwan Hall.
The Tarot Afternoon Tea Experience is open to people aged 16+. For the price of your sitting you will receive:
+ A Selection of Delicate Finger Sandwiches
+ Savoury Bites
+ Sumptuous sweets and cakes
+ A 10-minute Tarot Reading with Kat Wojdyla
We are also giving a complimentary mini bottle of prosecco to each guest. If you would rather be Afternoon Tea Total we can offer a glass of fresh fruit juice.
The Tarot Afternoon Tea Experience is available every Friday in August. Each table is booked for 2 hours and the available times are listed below.
Please note that the Tarot Afternoon Tearoom is on the first floor and is accessible only by a short flight of stairs. The maximum capacity is 16 people. We have 4 tables available for 2 people and 2 tables available for up to 4 people.
Under government regulations, we are employing health and safety protocols which will be explained to you upon arrival. Please be prepared to wear a face-covering whilst unseated and to participate in the Track & Trace scheme.
The 10-minute Tarot reading with Kat Wojdyla will take place in a separate room that offers privacy.
If you have any allergies or dietary requirements please let us know at least 48 hours in advance of your booking so that we may accommodate you.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
