After almost 100 years since her chart topping ‘Downhearted Blues’ was released, Bessie Smith is still regarded as one of the best and most influential blues and jazz singers of all time, earning her reputation with classics like ‘A Good Man Is Hard To Find’,‘I Need A Little Sugar In My Bowl’ or‘Empty Bed Blues’. Katie will be supported by the guitarist Stuart Nisbet (The Proclaimers, Justin Currie) and his stellar band.
