It’s 57 years since legendary singer Lulu released her debut smash hit single ‘Shout’. Singer, songwriter, actress, business woman and national treasure are all labels that have been attributed to Lulu, who has stayed the course, when many have faltered, simply because of her talent as an artist and her determination as a person.
In 2015, Grammy-nominated Lulu performed a nation-wide tour, which culminated with a summer packed with festival appearances including the infamous Glastonbury. She went back on the road after that with two 40 date sell-out UK tours, stretching from Aberdeen to Torquay. More recently she has toured the most legendary Blues clubs in the USA, concert halls in Australia and appeared as Take That’s special guest on their sell-out UK shows.
Her powerhouse performances have ensured a loyal following of fans who come out year after year to witness a legend at work. Something to shout about? Lulu has plenty!
