Stop and sketch several spectacular spots during your visit to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. On the forecourt, see how much you can draw of the incredibly detailed fountain installed by Queen Victoria in 1850; follow in Queen Victoria’s brushstrokes and try your hand at drawing Holyrood Abbey; and take in the scenery to draw the impressive Salisbury Crags.
Explore how the Palace has changed since Queen Victoria visited with a special trail and seeing if you can spot what is different in some of the rooms today.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Sketchbook Saturday are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
