Build new skills in app design and development to solve a problem that affects the world’s people and planet. Research and learn how to design and build your own mobile app prototypes in small groups.
With expert mentors supporting you along the way, you will get a chance to meet people working in the digital industry who will help you discover new skills and interests.
You will get the opportunity to present your prototype in teams to our panel of ‘dragons’ and enter a UK wide competition for the chance to get your app published!
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Create an App to Save the World are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
Come and visit Humbie Dean, a two-acre ornamental and woodland garden sandwiched between two burns at 600 feet with interest throughout a long season!
Join Surgeons Hall Museums on their 5* weekend walking tour through Edinburgh’s old town and hear tales of old Edinburgh, disease, dissection and curious methods of treatment!
Taking inspiration from our exhibition Bright Shadows - Scottish Art in the 1920s we will explore how artists in this period of change explored colour and stylised forms.
