Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, a magical winter retreat at Christmas, has come up with fun ideas where family Christmas memories can still made during the pandemic, including festive in-room camping and family afternoon tea – which has been given a fancy Christmas makeover for December.
Throughout December, mini candy canes, festive cakes, scones and colourful sandwiches will make a special appearance on the cake stand alongside hot chocolate and other goodies – making up a creatively devised Christmas-themed afternoon tea from Dalmahoy’s talented chef.
Meanwhile, the festive indoor camping experience can be added onto any room reservation and includes a camping tent for two pitched right inside the hotel room along with some festive games, colouring and chocolate treats.
Complete with every accessory that any discerning camper would need such as comfy bedding and take-home gifts such as a bedtime book and a Christmas decoration, the captivating experience takes glamping to a new level.
After having a blast camping in-room, little holidaymakers can then wake to explore the resort’s nature trails, playpark, giant outdoor games, driving range, pitch and putt, swimming pool – and of course, festive afternoon tea.
Festive family afternoon tea at Dalmahoy is priced at £21.95 per person for adults and £8.95 per child or family packages including 2 adults & 2 children for £39 or 2 adults & 1 child for £32. Runs throughout December 2-4pm (excluding 24th, 25th, 31st December & 1st January).
Indoor festive camping can be added to any Dalmahoy room booking for a supplement of £20 per night.
To avoid disappointment, booking is a must!
*Dalmahoy is located outside of Edinburgh in the local authority area of Edinburgh City which is in Tier 3 as of Tuesday 24 November 2020.
