This lecture examines the influences of French Art in the work of Charles H. Mackie.
Belinda Thomson is an independent scholar and Honorary Professor in art history at the University of Edinburgh. A specialist in the art of Paul Gauguin and his contemporaries, she instigated the project and chaired the committee behind the 2004 exhibition Patrick Geddes: the French Connection (Institut français d'Ecosse and Scottish National Portrait Gallery) in which the role of Charles Mackie was explored.
Free but booking is essential.
This lecture will now be run online on Microsoft Teams; booking is essential as attendees will be sent joining instructions a day or so beforehand. If you do not hear from us an hour or so before, please check your junk or spam folder.
