On 17 September 1745 Bonnie Prince Charlie arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse. He set up court for six weeks and brought the palace to life. Learn about how Bonnie Prince Charlie used various rooms in the Palace, which can still be visited today.

Join us for short talks at 11:30 every Thursday, Friday and Saturday in September. Talks will also take place at 14:30 on Saturdays and Sunday 20 September.
