This September, join us for a month of events to coincide with the 275th anniversary of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s stay at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in September 1745.
Explore the Palace and see if you can find the white cockades along the way. Supporters of Bonnie Prince Charlie liked to show their loyalty by wearing a white cockade on their bonnets, and ladies on their dresses. However, several Jacobites have lost their white cockades in the Palace today- can you find one in every room?
As well as searching for the white cockades you can make one of your own to take home.
All events at the Palace of Holyroodhouse will be managed in line with COVID-secure procedures.
