This September, join us for a month of events to coincide with the 275th anniversary of Bonnie Prince Charlie’s stay at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in September 1745.
In 1746, after the Battle of Culloden, Bonnie Prince Charlie made a famous escape over the sea to Skye. Discover the story of his unusual escape in this drop-in family activity and make your very own paper boat fit for a prince.
This event takes place every Saturday in September and Sunday 20th September.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Skye Boat Song are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
