About Mindfulness Day for Young People: 9-14 years

Nature, mindfulness, art and fun for 9-14yr olds.

Angie, Consellor, mindfulness expert and mummy of 2 girls, will lead the day of mindful activities along the seashore in Portobello and in local green spaces. With the young people Angie will encourage connection around the feelings of being in the moment, what it means to be kind, and how to enjoy the natural environment.

With over 26 years of counselling experience and specialises in Mindfulness for all age groups Angie is super excited about these days.

Mindfulness has been shown to help Children with 3 critical skills

1. Increased focus, attention, self-control, classroom participation, compassion.

2. Improved academic performance, ability to resolve conflict, overall well-being.

3. Decreased levels of stress, depression, anxiety, disruptive behaviour.

Ticket price can be paid via bank transfer if preferred.
