The Choir of Birmingham Cathedral will be performing at St Cuthbert’s
Church in Edinburgh on Sunday 16th February at 2.30pm.
The visiting choir are the combined forces of the boys’ and girls’ choirs at Birmingham Cathedral, who alongside professional lay clerks sing at five services per week, as well as recent broadcasts for Radio 3 and various CD recordings.
Directed by David Hardie and accompanied by organist Ashley Wagner, the choir will be performing Handel’s “Zadok the Priest”, Allegri’s “Miserere” and music by Bairstow, Brahms, Bruckner, Grieg, Haydn, Holst & Mozart.
The concert is free with a retiring collection for the the charity “Steps to Hope”.
