RESCHEDULED FROM OCTOBER 2020
Musselburgh Amateur Musical Association are delighted to be bringing the hit musical Chess to the Brunton stage in February 2021 for it’s (long overdue!) East Lothian premiere.
Featuring the music of Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus (of ABBA fame) and lyrics from Tim Rice, this fantastic story is based around two chess Grandmasters and their fight over world titles and the love of a woman, and is truly one of the greats.
Hits from the show include Anthem, One Night in Bangkok and the chart topping I Know Him So Well, sung originally by Barbara Dickson and Elaine Paige, and with its mix of musical styles will have something that appeals to everyone.
(Please note – knowledge on how to play chess is not a requirement for enjoying this musical!)”
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Mama present Chess The Musical - CANCELLED are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment. All information (whether in text or photographs) is given in good faith but should not be relied upon as being a statement of representation or fact.
The Brunton and the Lammermuir Festival present The Royal Scottish National Orchestra on Saturday 30th January 2021.
